AILO Receives Award!

The first FAWCO (Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas) Target Program has been completed. As a result of AILO’s contribution, we have been awarded the Platinum Medallion for our level of achievement. This first FAWCO Target Program raised over $135,000 by various clubs, their members and friends. All of the money has been donated to Tabitha-Wells for Cambodia to build family wells, allowing access to clean water to over 1500 families, with an additional $27,000 raised by clubs for other water projects worldwide.

Stop The Violence

On February 14th, the Global Theatre’s Creative Campus along with The U.S. Consulate and The Robert Kennedy Center will organize a FLASH MOB in Piazza della Repubblica beginning at 3:00pm.

This is part of the global movement to bring attention to the growing issue of Violence Against Women. Over 13,000 organizations will participate and we feel it is important that AILO has a voice in this too!
